We have a range of yearbook options for you to choose from - depending which product best suits your requirements, the cost will be based on which option you choose, number of pages and the quantity of yearbooks.

50 yearbooks. Our prices work on a sliding scale – the more yearbooks you order, the lower the unit cost becomes.

You can have a softback or hardback cover. For softback binding, the cover is printed in full colour and gloss or matt laminated to the outer. If you would like a hardback cover you can have the yearbook bound in coated cloth or faux leather with foil blocking of your school logo and name or you can have full colour hardback binding where you have any design you would like printed in full colour and either gloss or matt laminated. Take a look at the different binding options available for your yearbook .

There is no maximum number: however, for all books the pages (sides) must be multiples of 2 and for square-back staple, faux leather and full colour hardback the pages must be multiples of 4. The minimum number of pages to ensure a sufficiently strong bind are as follows: perfect bound – 30 pages, hardback cloth – 46 pages and faux leather and full colour hardback – 28 pages.

Your Account Manager will give you a copy deadline to ensure that your project can be on track for your requested delivery date. If you miss your copy deadline, contact your Account Manager who will do their best to accommodate your needs. Once your yearbook has been approved it will take up to 4 weeks to produce a softback or hardback cloth yearbook and up to 6 weeks to produce a full colour hardback or faux leather yearbook.

This is all down to organisation and how quick can you gather content. The quicker the content is gathered, the quicker the yearbook will come together. How many people are involved in the project? The more people you involve, the more work can be shared among the group. Keep in touch with your account manager who can advise you at each stage of your yearbook project and so enable you to be more efficient.

SPC's designers can create a landscape yearbook for you, if you select the Professionally Designed service. Please note that unless you choose a coil or wire-o binding, there will be extra costs for producing a landscape book - please call us to discuss costs

Yes, your yearbook project can either be split onto several computers with each student being set dedicated pages to work on within the yearbook – for example, pages 1 – 10 for one person, pages 11-20 for the next, etc.

When you first submit your files you will be sent a hardcopy proof for you to proofread. You then have the opportunity to make or request amendments (depending on whether you have chosen a DIY or professionally designed option). You will then be sent via email a final proof in PDF format for you to check and sign off for print.

One. After the first round of amends, any further changes may be subject to additional charges.

SPC will dispatch your yearbooks to one UK address using a next day courier service. As with most courier services, we can only guarantee delivery on that day between 7.30am and 5.30pm. You can request either a pre-9am or pre 12 noon service but this will incur an extra charge. Ask your account manager or call our office for more details.

If you have a holiday coming up, we strongly advise that you ask someone to be your holiday contact for us. Then just fill them in on the project so far and pass on their contact details to us. We will only contact them if we have a query and we will copy you into any emails we send them so that you can see what has been happening while you were away. Alternatively, you may be able to stay in touch with us via a smart phone or if you have access to your emails while you are on holiday.

Yes, SPC Yearbooks need final approval from a member of school staff before production can begin on your book. The yearbook can be seen to be representing the school so it is important to give SPC a staff contact so that we can send him or her proofs along the way and make sure they approve the yearbook before we print it.

SPC Yearbooks need a member of school staff's signature on the original order form and correct contact details, i.e. emails address and telephone number. When your yearbook is finished, SPC need the member of school staff to sign the approval form to confirm that they are happy with the content.

There are a few cases where the school does not want to be involved in the yearbook, or the yearbook is being created outside of school and that is fine. You will need to provide us with written confirmation from the school to acknowledge that they are handing over all responsibility for the yearbook and its content to you, including any conditions they have, e.g. use of the school logo.

A purchase order is a document raised by the school’s finance department to confirm the school is aware of and happy with the order placed. The purchase order will have a reference number on it which we put into our system and it will be on the invoice that we send to the school. You can usually request a purchase order from your finance department, but they will more than likely need the total amount, so make sure you take the latest approval sheet or quote with you. Purchase orders are usually amount-specific so if your order details change after you have raised the purchase order, you may need to request a new one. If you are unsure, speak to your finance department about their requirements and we will try our best to help.

You will need to concentrate most of your time preparing for your exam period so finding the time to spend on your yearbook can be tricky. Some schools use lesson time or arrange a set time after school each week to meet up to work on the yearbook. Speak to a teacher about what time is available to you and what rooms you could possibly use after school. It can take a bit of trial and error to get the right time and place for everyone but the biggest tip is get as many people involved as you can to lighten the load.

All comments need to be typed up and supplied electronically as a text file (e.g. Word). There will be an additional charge if we have to type these for you.

If you have chosen either of these options, you must make the changes yourself and then resubmit the files to us.

If you choose our Professionally Designed service then yes, your yearbook will be proofread for students' names, layout, missing images, foul language and references to teachers and other students. If you have chosen our Yearbook Creator, Designer Live!, or Print Only option, it will be the school's responsibility to proofread the yearbook. Once the yearbook has been approved, SPC will not be held responsible for any errors found after this time.

We advise everyone to make a copy of the content you send to us, just in case there are any disk errors or if files get lost in the post. We strongly recommend that you send all files and hard copies by recorded delivery.

We return all photos and disks by recorded delivery once we have delivered the yearbooks.

We do not require a deposit to enable you to get going on your project.

All costs are included in our base prices - there are no extras for you to pay and you do not need to pay VAT on yearbooks.

Please don’t send us cash or individual student cheques! You should pay the money to the school and then you can either send us an official school purchase order or one cheque for the full amount. Please make cheques payable to SPC Yearbooks.

You can amend the quantity that you require right up until you sign the proof off for printing. You need to pay for all copies that are printed and delivered!

Prices are dependent on the quantity you order.

All our yearbooks are printed in full colour throughout – there is NO extra charge for this.

We can change the colours to reflect your chosen colour scheme – you can even have different colours for each class if you wish. If you want to make other changes to the templates, there may be an additional charge – please call us for more info.
