SPC Yearbooks are new suppliers of AWD leavers’ hoodies

SPC Yearbooks are new suppliers of AWD leavers hoodiesThis article has been written to give you a quick overview of what’s new for 2012 in our leavers’ hoodie service.  SPC are excited to be new suppliers of All We Do Is (AWDis) hoodies – the ethical hoodie brand that has exploded into the market in the last three and a half years and has since become the most dominant and best-selling brand in Europe.

Finding their colour range to be extensive and their variety of hoodie types equally appealing, SPC now offer the traditional ‘college’ hoodie, the ‘varsity’ two tone hoodie and the ‘street’ hoodie with thumb holes and MP3 player loops in numerous different colours. We’ve even introduced more contemporary looking back print design options for those who want to break away from the classic and ever popular American baseball and college style prints.

As always you can have a mixture of colours and sizes in any one order. The material mix of our hoodies is 80% cotton for softness and durability and 20% polyester for optimal shape and colour retention. Embroidery on all your school hoodies regardless of quantity is just £60 and personalisation on the back of hoodies is just £2 extra per hoodie – great value for money – particularly with the 20% discount that will apply if you order yearbooks with us too!

How should I structure my yearbook? Revisited…

Following on from our post back in October talking you through how to structure your yearbook, we’ve put together an example PDF which visually demonstrates our recommended minimum content for your yearbook – we suggest that you (at least) include the sections demonstrated in this PDF to ensure that you have a substantial yearbook, full of school memories – it should also help you to get an idea about how these sections can be ordered to achieve a fabulously flowing leaver’s book!

Download your copy by clicking here, print it out and take it to your next committee meeting.

This is our last post of 2010, but we’ll be back on 5th January 2011 to bring you more help, ideas and resources for your yearbook project. A very merry Christmas and a happy New Year from all the staff at SPC Yearbooks.

Pages for sporting achievements…

Sports pages for your yearbookLove it or hate it, sport is perfect for team building (I’m sure you’ve heard this many times – but it’s true!) and a great sense of achievement comes from sporting events. Perhaps your school ran sports days or members of your year competed regionally or nationally… all of this sense of spirit can be recalled if you include it in your yearbook!

Before you decide on actual design and graphics for your sports section, plan out what content you would like to include i.e. photos, reports, newspaper cuttings – is there a general theme which you can use through these pages? Or do you want a scrapbook/memory book design to these pages? Here are a few ideas for you…

Create a newspaper-style page and add a journalist report about your sporting victories or near misses. Who knows – you could be reading about one of your classmates on the back of the tabloids in the future!

If you have lots of photos, include individual photo montage pages for each sport.

Collect memories of sports days to include with photos. Who won the egg and spoon race? What was your cheerleading chant?
